Great tools should fade into the background and let you focus on the work that matters. These updates are doing exactly that. We’ve shipped a set of updates that focus on one thing: making our tools easier to use in real-world workflows: less guessing, less digging, and fewer surprises. Each change comes from how people actually use the platform day to day.
Here’s what’s new:
Conditional Controls API: Building rules that reflect reality
Building controls change depending on how a property is used. Those differences matter, especially when you’re deciding whether a site actually works before time and money go into planning.
The new Conditional Controls API returns building controls based on the conditions that apply to a property, not just a single static value.
For example, a minimum lot width requirement might look like this:
- 75-150 ft for Courtyard Housing
- 100-150 ft for a Commercial Block
With this API, your application can surface the right rules for the right scenario, so users see how requirements shift based on use type and layout.
Why this matters: That makes early feasibility checks and investment decisions a lot more reliable.
Bassett AI: See your credits at a glance
To solidify Bassett’s position as an enterprise-grade tool, we are introducing improved views of credit balances. It’s important information for users.
Bassett AI now shows:
- How many remaining credits do you have
- When each set of credits expires
Why this matters: This matches what’s already available across our other credit-based services and makes it easier to manage usage without having to dig around or guess.
Pricing Page: Cleaner, clearer, easier to compare
We’ve refreshed the pricing page to make it easier to understand exactly what you’re paying for and what you get at each level. Our pricing has now been restructured to fit your needs.
The new layout shows:
- All plans, from Starter to Professional to Enterprise customers
- Pricing, seat counts, and usage limits
- Clear breakdowns of searches, reports, feature access, and add-ons
Why this matters: Whether you're working solo or managing a growing team, it’s now much easier to compare plans and pick the one that fits without second-guessing.
Report Attachments: Everything in one place
Accessing report attachments is now a lot more straightforward.
Any documents attached to a report are embedded directly into the report itself and appear at the end of the file.
Why this matters: Everything related to the report stays together, with no extra downloads or missing files to track down later.
Parking API: Structured data you can actually use
We’ve improved the parkingdetail API with a new structured query parameter.
When included, the API returns paking standards in a clear, structured format instead of plain text. Details like Required number of spaces, Unit type, and Parking criteria tied to land use are broken out in consistent fields.
Why it matters: This makes the data easier to read, easier to parse, and much easier to work with programmatically.
These updates are part of a broader push to make the platform more dependable as you scale your work. Whether you’re evaluating a single parcel or running high-volume analyses across markets, the goal is the same: clearer rules, fewer manual steps, and tools that behave the way you expect them to.
We’ll keep refining the platform based on real usage and real feedback. If something slows you down or creates uncertainty, that’s the next thing we want to fix.
