ARTICLE XXIX

Agriculture-Rural AR Zoning District

§ 185-210 Purpose and applicability.

A. 
The Agriculture-Rural District (AR) is hereby established on a map entitled "Barrington Zoning Map." The AR District is designed to:
(1) 
Limit development in areas that lack adequate infrastructure, including roads, water and sewer, and where extending public services is not in the interest of good planning.
(2) 
Encourage the protection and preservation of rural character, farmland, open space, and natural land features, including sensitive wildlife habitat.
(3) 
Reduce potential conflicts between farming and residential uses.
B. 
The uses of land permitted in the AR District shall be those shown as permitted uses in Article IV of this chapter.

§ 185-211 Exemption from inclusionary zoning requirements.

Subdivisions within the AR District are exempt from inclusionary zoning provisions of this chapter.
