A. Appeals. To avoid results inconsistent with the purposes of this title, decisions of the director of development services and the historic preservation review commission may be appealed to the planning commission, and decisions of the planning commission may be appealed to the city council in accordance with Chapter 1.44 BMC.
B. Calls for Review. As an additional safeguard to avoid results inconsistent with the purposes of this title, decisions of the director of development services or the historic preservation review commission may be called up for review by the planning commission, and decisions of the planning commission may be called up for review by the city council in accordance with Chapter 1.44 BMC. Following denial of an appeal or certification of a decision called for review, any matter that is the same or substantially the same shall not be considered by the same body within one year, unless the denial or certification is made without prejudice. (Ord. 07-69 § 1).
