The formulation of new design standards for the town will require engineering input which incorporates the modern trends of providing greater amenities for the residents of a mobile home community. At the same timer the design must recognize the present space limitations of the town in overall area and the present patterns of vested use and occupancy of the approximate 550 existing mobile home spaces within the park. Although implementation has already begun, this is a long range program which will require several years to complete.

   (A)   At the present time, through the adoption of the other subchapters constituting this chapter, the present design and development standards have been updated and revitalized to the extent currently possible. Essentially, these are the same standards which have been used to create the town as it now exists.

   (B)   By following the same pattern of development until new efficient and desirable design standards can be created, the community’s ability to accommodate the present and future housing needs of the residents of the town will continue.
