Only one commercial vehicle (defined as every type of motorized vehicle used for commercial purposes and requiring any type of commercial registration), including a school vehicle Code 18 (vehicle with a seating capacity of 16 or less and displaying registration plates beginning or ending with "S2"), and one commercial trailer owned or used by the resident of the premises are permitted per residence, which must be parked in the driveway or garage. On-street parking by these permitted vehicles is prohibited.

The permitted registered gross weight of any commercial vehicle shall not be more than 17,500 pounds and/or the length of the truck shall not exceed 21 feet and/or the height of the truck shall not exceed 10 feet.

School vehicles, Code 17 (vehicle with a seating capacity of 17 or more and displaying registration plates beginning or ending with "S1"), are allowed during the daytime only and must be legally parked pursuant to applicable parking regulations.

Any commercial vehicle shall not be left idling in the driveway.

All construction equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, backhoes, payloaders, cranes, wood chippers and similar machines, are prohibited, except while there is an active construction/open permit or unless otherwise stored in a garage or other building on the premises.

Moving vans, moving trucks and trailers for the residence at which they are moving the possessions to or from for a period not exceeding 48 hours in duration are allowed.

Tractor-trailers and tractor bodies without trailers are prohibited from being parked or otherwise stored in a residential zone.

Driveway location. All entrance and exit driveways shall be located to provide maximum safety with minimum disruption of traffic on the street. Where practicable, no part of any driveway entrance or exit to a public street shall be closer than 50 feet to an intersection. Where the frontage of the lot is too narrow to permit the specified distance, the driveway shall be located as far from the intersection as possible.

The number of driveway openings provided from a residential dwelling on any one street shall not exceed one driveway opening for frontage of less than 200 feet and shall not exceed two driveway openings for frontage on such street of over 200 feet. All driveways shall provide safe access to a residential dwelling and shall have openings onto a street that will provide adequate site distances for vehicles entering and leaving said driveway.

All off-street parking areas shall be constructed of a minimum of six inches of compacted quarry processed stone, dense graded aggregate or other acceptable material over a compacted subgrade. Where the grade of the driveway exceeds 5% in grade, the driveway must be paved with a minimum of two inches of hot mix asphalt surface course, or approved equal, over a base of a minimum of four inches of compacted quarry processed stone, dense graded aggregate or other acceptable base material. Alternative pervious pavements are permitted, provided that the function, safety and durability of the pavement is acceptable to the Township Zoning Officer and/or Township Engineer.

No driveway shall at any point exceed a grade of 15%.

Within 25 feet of the residential dwelling to be served, no driveway shall exceed a grade of 4%.

Within 20 feet of the right-of-way, no driveway shall exceed a grade of 2%.

Dimensions of driveway width shall be a minimum of 12 feet and a maximum of 13 feet. This excludes the portion of the driveway near the residential dwelling which may be increased in width to allow for proper access to garages, parking and turnaround areas.
