For the purposes of this title, the village is hereby divided into four (4) zoning districts, as follows:
A Residential district
B Business district
C Commercial service district
D Industrial district

11-4-2: ZONING MAP:
The boundaries of the districts are shown on the "District Map" which is hereby made a part of this title. The original of this map is properly attested and on file with the village clerk, and said map and all the information shown thereon shall have the same force and effect as if fully set forth or described herein. 11-4-3: PERMITTED USES; COMPLIANCE WITH PROVISIONS:
A. No building shall be erected, converted, enlarged, reconstructed, moved or structurally altered, nor shall any building or land be used except for a use permitted in the district in which such building or land is located.
B. No building shall be erected, enlarged, reconstructed, moved or structurally altered except in conformity with the height, yard, area per family, off street parking, and other regulations prescribed herein for the district in which such building is located. (Ord. 566-2012, 3-19-2012)
11-4-4: YARDS, PARKING SPACES AND OPEN SPACE:
The minimum yards, parking spaces, and open spaces, including lot area per family, required by this title for each and every building existing at the effective date hereof, or for any building hereafter erected, shall not be encroached upon or considered as a part of the yard or parking space or open space required for any other building, nor shall any lot area be reduced below the requirements of this title for the district in which such lot is located. 11-4-5: BUILDING ON A LOT:
Every building hereafter erected or structurally altered shall be located on a "lot" as defined in section 11-2-2 of this title, and in no case shall more than one residential building be located on a lot. (Ord. 566-2012, 3-19-2012)
11-4-6: ZONING OF ANNEXED TERRITORY:
All territory which may hereafter be annexed to the village shall be automatically classified as an A residential district until this classification is changed by amendment to this title. (Ord. 566-2012, 3-19-2012)
11-4-7: VACATION OF PUBLIC WAYS:
Whenever any street, alley, or other public way is vacated, the zoning district adjoining each side of such street, alley of public way shall be automatically extended to the center of such vacation, and all area included in the vacation shall then and henceforth be subject to all appropriate regulations of the extended districts. 11-4-8: GRANT OF PROHIBITED USE:
The board of trustees may, by resolution, grant any use which is otherwise prohibited by this title in any district for a period of not more than one year, and may require appropriate conditions, safeguards and off street parking requirements.
