In case any building or structure is erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted or maintained, or any building, structure or land is used in violation of this chapter or prior laws, the Township Board of Supervisors may instruct an officer of the Township, in addition to other remedies, to institute in the name of the Township any appropriate action or proceedings to prevent, restrain, correct or abate such violation, structure or land, or to prevent, in or about such premises any act, conduct or use constituting a violation.
