Now therefore be it resolved that the commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County, Georgia, as authorized by the Constitution of the State of Georgia, has created a planning commission known as the Cusseta-Chattahoochee County Planning Commission and does hereby adopt zoning regulations for the following purposes: to define certain words used therein; to create zone boundaries; to regulate the location of trades, professions, businesses, and industries; to regulate the density and distribution of population; to provide for the gradual elimination of nonconforming uses of land, buildings and structures; to define and limit the powers and duties of the planning commission; to provide for the method of administration, amendment and enforcement; to provide for the imposition of penalties for violations; to repeal conflicting ordinances and resolutions.

There are two different bodies that are involved in the zoning process:

1)

The commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County, Georgia.

2)

The Cusseta-Chattahoochee County Planning Commission.
