ARTICLE IV

PROHIBITED USES

Sec. 82-301.- Prohibited if not expressly permitted.

All uses not expressly permitted in this chapter are prohibited.

Sec. 82-302. - Potential public hazards.

No land or building shall be used or occupied for a use that creates an unreasonable potential hazard to public health, safety, and/or general welfare including, but not limited to the following:

(1)

Any dangerous, injurious, or noxious fire, explosive, radioactive or other hazardous conditions;

(2)

Noise or vibration;

(3)

Smoke, dust, odor, particle matter, or other form of air pollution; or

(4)

Traffic or traffic congestion.

Sec. 82-303. - Enumerated prohibited uses.

Without limiting the restrictions in this article, the following uses are hereby specifically prohibited:

(1)

Industrial, heavy manufacturing, or related uses;

(2)

Open storage and outdoor display as the principal use of property, except for temporary seasonal displays/markets otherwise lawful under this chapter;

(3)

Open and outside displays for sale of automobiles, boats, buses, trucks, recreational vehicles, or travel trailers, except as otherwise specifically authorized under this chapter.
