To defray a portion of the cost of advertising, as required by law, and of technical services necessitated by petitions for changes to the zoning regulations or Official Zoning Maps, and requests for special use permits, variances, plan review, certificates of appropriateness or permits, fees shall be charged. Said fees shall be established and modified by the Elected Body. Lists of said fees applicable to the Planning Board and the Planning Department shall be maintained on file and available to the public in the respective offices.

(A)

No action shall be taken on a petition and no petition shall be considered complete until all required fees are paid in full along with other requirements per Article VI of this Ordinance.

(B)

No fee shall be required for petitions initiated by the Village of Clemmons.

(A)

Changes to Complete Applications .....In addition to fees set forth by the Elected Body, the following shall apply:

(1)

Withdrawn Application. .....All fees are forfeited in the event the Village has incurred any expense related to the petition; the fee must be paid again in full if the application is resubmitted.

(2)

Continuance of Application. .....Payment of fees may be required to cover the cost of additional notice.

(3)

Reapplication, Resubmission. .....Payment of fees shall be required for a reapplication or resubmission where a previous application has been denied.
