PREFACE TO THE REPUBLICATION

This Code constitutes a republication of the Land Use and Development Management Code of Coalville City, Utah.

Source materials used in the preparation of the republication were the City Land Use and Development Management Code, as updated through Ordinance 2024-2 on October 15, 2024, and subsequent ordinances. The source of each section is included in the history note appearing in parentheses at the end thereof. The absence of such a note indicates that the section is part of the Land Use and Development Management Code. By use of the comparative tables appearing in the back of this republication, the reader can locate any section of the Code, as updated.

Special note regarding defined terms: Defined terms throughout the Land Use and Development Management Code will be keycapped and bold. When a user sees a word keycapped and bold, this will signify that the word has a defined meaning within its respective title.

Acknowledgments

This republication was under the direct supervision of Shelby Hudson, Editor of CivicPlus. Credit is gratefully given to the other members of the publisher's staff for their sincere interest and able assistance throughout the project.

The publisher is most grateful to RaeShel Hortin, City Treasurer, for her cooperation and assistance during the progress of the work on this republication. It is hoped that their efforts and those of the publisher have resulted in a Land Use and Development Management Code which will make the active law of the City readily accessible to all citizens and which will be a valuable tool in the day-to-day administration of the City's affairs.
