ARTICLE III

LIST OF DISTRICTS

Section 3.01.- Generally.

Colquitt County is hereby divided into 18 zoning districts known as follows:

R-1 Single-family residential

R-1MH Single-family residential

R-2 Two-family residential

R-3 Multiple-family residential

R-4 Manufactured home park

R-PUD Residential planned unit development

O-I Office-Institutional

C-1 Neighborhood business

C-1R Neighborhood business district restricted

C-2 General business

C-3 Commercial district

C-PUD Commercial planned unit development

M-1 Light industrial

M-2 Industrial

AG Agricultural

FH Flood hazard

PWD Parkway development district

R-1PS Single-family residential, Private Subdivision.

Section 3.02. - Map.

The boundaries of these districts are shown in the map attached hereto and made a part of this ordinance, which map is designated as the Zoning Map of Colquitt County. The zoning map attached hereto and on file in the office of the zoning/building official and all notations, references and other information shown thereon are a part of this ordinance and have the same force and effect as if said zoning map and all such notations, references and other information shown there were fully set forth or described herein.

Except where reference on said map to a street/road or other designated line is made by dimensions shown on said map, the district boundary lines follow lot lines or the centerlines of the streets/roads or alleys or such lines extended at the time of adoption of this ordinance.

Questions concerning the exact location of district boundary lines shall be determined by the board of zoning appeals after recommendations from the planning commission/county commission, according to rules and regulations which may be adopted by it.
