Deer Park City Zoning Code

All territory hereafter annexed to the city of Deer Park shall be contained within that portion of unincorporated Spokane County officially designated as being within the city's urban growth area by the Spokane County board of county commissioners pursuant to the requirements of the Growth Management Act set forth in Chapter 36.70A RCW.

All territory hereafter annexed to the city of Deer Park shall be subject to a prezoning plan, which prezoning plan shall conform to the official land use designation of the future land use plan map contained within the city's adopted comprehensive plan.

All territory hereafter annexed to the city of Deer Park shall, upon annexation, be zoned in accordance with a prezoning plan adopted in the manner required by state law. Said prezoning plan may be prepared and adopted as a part of the official annexation proceedings. In the event no prezoning plan is adopted in accordance with this section, the zoning of the annexed territory shall be residential 1A zone.
