Chapter 49 of the Code of the Village of Deposit, otherwise known as the "Village of Deposit, New York, Zoning Chapter of 1961" and any and all amendments thereof are hereby repealed. Such repeal shall not be construed as abating any action now pending under this chapter; or as discontinuing, abating, modifying or altering any penalty accruing or to accrue; or as affecting the liability of any person, firm or corporation; or as waiving any right of the Village of Deposit, under any section or provision existing at the time of the passage of this comprehensive amendment; or as vacating or annulling any rights obtained by any person, from or corporation, by lawful action of the Village of Deposit.
