- VIOLATION AND PENALTY
Any person, firm, partnership or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to the penalties herein. Each day's continuance of a violation shall be considered a separate offense. The owner and or tenants of any buildings or premises or parts thereof, where anything in violation of the Ordinance shall be placed or shall exist, and any architect, builder, contractor, or agent or the owner and or tenants who may have assisted in the commission of any such violation may be guilty of a separate offense.

Where a determination is made that property is in violation of the Zoning Ordinance, and any other codes and laws enforced by the Department of Planning and Community Development, and all reasonable efforts and means to obtain compliance having been exhausted, the Director of Planning and Zoning is authorized to effect such compliance at public expense. The cost of effectuating compliance shall constitute a lien upon the property and said lien shall be recorded by the Director of Planning and Zoning in accordance with the laws for such.
Any violations of this chapter shall be punishable under section 1-1006 of the City Code to the maximum extent permitted by law.
