Great Neck Plaza City Zoning Code

For the purpose of this chapter, the Village of Great Neck Plaza is hereby divided into several classes of districts, which are designated as follows:

The boundaries of said districts are hereby established as shown on the Building Zone Map[1] which accompanies this chapter and which is hereby declared to be a part thereof. No building shall be erected, altered or used and no premises shall be used for any purpose other than a purpose permitted in the district in which such building or premises is located. No building or part of a building shall be erected except in conformity with the regulations herein prescribed for the district in which such building is located.

In any particular instance where there is doubt as to the exact location of a district boundary line, the Board of Appeals, in conformity with the provisions of this chapter, shall have the power to determine the location of said boundary line so that the intent of this chapter and said map shall be observed and the neighborhood affected thereby shall be safeguarded.
