Consistent with the Village of Liverpool Comprehensive Plan 2025 and the corresponding Downtown Redevelopment Plan, the purpose of the B-4 General Business District is to complement the mixed-use business districts in use and design while serving as a gateway into Liverpool from the Town of Salina. Development patterns are less intense and may consist of single-use attached or detached structures. The B-4 District serves as a destination allowing for uses, services and products that are more easily transported and accessible by private automobiles instead of pedestrian traffic. Mixed-use development in the B-4 District could include residential uses, but would more likely include combinations of business, commercial, office and retail uses.
