This chapter may be known as the "Township of Lumberton Development Regulations Ordinance."

The purposes of this chapter are to establish a pattern for the use of land and buildings based on the land use element of the Master Plan and to guide appropriate and orderly development which will promote the public health, safety, morals and general welfare. This chapter adopts by reference the purposes set forth in the Municipal Land Use Law.[1]
