17.36.016

Manufactured/mobile home placement in park—Criteria—Parks in existence prior to June 12, 2008.

Designated manufactured homes and mobile homes of any age may be permitted in any designated manufactured home park or mobile home park as defined in Chapters 17.36 MMC or 15.12 MMC which were in existence prior to June 12, 2008, subject to the following conditions:

A.

Any home which does not meet the definition included in MMC 17.36.015 shall not be allowed.

B.

The manufactured/mobile home must comply with fire, safety, and all other city ordinances or state laws related to manufactured/mobile homes.

C.

The manufactured/mobile home must be set upon a permanent foundation, as specified by the manufacturer, and that the space from the bottom of the home to the ground be enclosed by concrete or an approved concrete product which can be either load bearing or decorative;

D.

The manufactured/mobile home comply with all design standards applicable to all other homes within the neighborhood in which the manufactured home is to be located;

E.

The manufactured/mobile home be thermally equivalent to the state energy code; and

F.

The manufactured/mobile home otherwise meets all other requirements for a designated manufactured home as defined in RCW 35.63.160.
