An ordinance to establish districts within the Town [City] of Moundville, Alabama; to regulate and restrict the erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair or use of buildings, structures or lands therein; to regulate and restrict therein the height, bulk, number of stories, and size of buildings, and other structures and land for trade, industry, residence or other purposes; to provide methods of administration and penalties for violation.

Now, therefore be it ordained by the Council of the Town [City] of Moundville that for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals, and the general welfare of the community embraced within the territorial limits of the Town [City] of Moundville, Alabama, the following articles and sections be, and the same hereby are, enacted into law:
