(A) The intent of this chapter in establishing an industry district is in recognition of existing industrial development within the community and of the desirability of reserving additional land for possible new, expanded or relocated industries. It is intended that land zoned for industry would be located such that conflict with incompatible uses would be minimized.
(B) It shall be unlawful to use or permit the use of any building or premises within the city and within the area one and one-half miles beyond its corporate limits for any purpose other than as listed below.
(A) All fabricating, manufacturing, processing or storage of materials, goods and products provided the regulations set forth in § 12-9-1 are complied with;
(B) Wholesaling;
(C) Accessory uses incidental to the foregoing principal uses; and
