If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this part is for any reason held to the invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this part, and each section, subsection, sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that anyone (1) or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional. 1. Part III of the Needles Municipal Code in its entirety is hereby repealed and all ordinances of the city inconsistent herewith to the extent of such inconsistency, and no further, are hereby repealed.
2. The repeal of any of the above-included ordinances does not revive any other ordinance or portion thereof repealed by said ordinances.
3. Such repeals shall not affect or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for the violation of any ordinances repealed hereby for an offense committed prior to the repeal. (Ord. 427-AC)
