ZONING MAP
§ 156.030 ESTABLISHMENT OF ZONING DISTRICTS.
For the purposes of this chapter, the city is hereby divided into the following ten districts:
(A) Single-Family Residential District (R-1);
(B) Multiple-Family Residential District (R-2);
(C) Rural Residential District (RR);
(D) Business District (B-1);
(E) Business District (B-2);
(F) Industrial District (I);
(G) Public Area District;
(H) Mining District (M);
(I) Natural Resource District (NR); and
(J) Teal Lake Overlay District (TL).

§ 156.031 ZONING MAP; DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
The boundaries of the districts established in § 156.030 are hereby established as shown on a map entitled “Zoning Map, City of Negaunee, Michigan,” dated December 12, 2019, which is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator and which is hereby made a part of this subchapter. Except where specifically designated on said map, the district boundary lines are intended to follow lot lines, the centerlines of streets or alleys, the centerlines of streets or alleys projected, railroad right-of-way lines, section lines, one-quarter section lines, one-eighth section lines, or the city limits. Where a district boundary line does not coincide with lot lines, said boundary line shall be dimensioned on the zoning map.
