The Board of Trustees may, from time to time, on its own motion, or on petition or on recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals, amend, supplement, change, modify or repeal the regulations and provisions of this chapter after public notice and hearing as provided by the Village Law.

This chapter shall be liberally construed to effectuate the purposes for which it is enacted.
