CHAPTER 18
10 DEFINITIONS
§ 18.10.010 General definitions.
Unless the context requires, the definitions set forth or otherwise provided for in this chapter shall be used in the interpretation and construction of this title, words used in the present tense include the future; the singular number shall include the plural, and the plural the singular; the word "building" shall include the word "structure," the word "used" shall include "arranged, designed, constructed, altered, converted, rented, leased, or intended to be used," and the word "shall" is mandatory and not directory.

§ 18.10.020 City council/planning commission.
"City"
means the city of Point Arena.
"City council"
means the city council of Point Arena.
"Planning commission"
means the planning commission of the city of Point Arena or the city council in the absence of a legally constituted planning commission.

§ 18.10.030 Reference to Appendix A.
The definitions included in Appendix A of this title shall constitute supplementary definitions to be used in the interpretation and construction of this title.
