Establishment of districts. District regulations setting permissible uses and establishing areas and bulk requirements for the use of land and buildings are hereby enacted. These regulations are adopted as requirements for the entire zoning jurisdiction of the city, each part of which shall be classified according to one of the districts set forth below and regulated according to the uniform requirements of that district. These districts shall be delineated on the official zoning map and be designated by their abbreviated names as well as their full titles.
