60 - "K" UNRESTRICTED DISTRICT
The regulations set forth in this chapter or set forth elsewhere in the Zoning Code and referred to in this chapter are the district regulations in the "K" Unrestricted District.

In the unrestricted district buildings and premises may be used for any purpose whatsoever not in conflict with any ordinance of the City regulating nuisances or Section 26.60.025, or is not a wireless facility provided that motor fuel pumping stations shall meet the site requirements specified in Section 26.40.027 and carry-out restaurants that sell to customers in cars or who consume the sold products in cars parked on the carry-out restaurant premises, or sell products through a sales window, to customers who are in cars, for immediate consumption by the customer either on or off the premises shall meet the site requirements specified in Section 26.40.026.B.1 or 2 as appropriate. Provided, however, that no building shall be hereafter erected, nor shall any existing building be converted, reconstructed, or structurally altered for dwelling purposes.

The following conditional uses may be allowed in the "K" Unrestricted District, subject to the provisions of Section 26.80.010:
A.
Acid manufacture;
B.
Day care centers;
C.
Bathhouses, including massage establishment(s), as defined and subject to the additional provisions of Chapter 8.24;
D.
Billiards and pool rooms, as defined and subject to the additional provisions of Chapter 8.26;
E.
Cement, lime, gypsum, or plaster-of-Paris manufacture;
F.
Fireworks, exposures, manufacture or storage;
G.
Fertilizer manufacture and potash refining;
H.
Fuel manufacture;
I.
Garbage, offal, or dead animals, reduction or dumping;
J.
Glue manufacture, fat rendering, or distillation of bones;
K.
Hotels;
L.
Pawnbrokers, as defined and subject to the additional provisions of Chapter 8.72;
M.
Penal institutions;
N.
Petroleum refining;
O.
Salvage storage, wholesaling or retailing;
P.
Smelting or refining of metals;
Q.
Stockyards or abattoir;
R.
Telephone, outdoor pay, if the proposed telephone is located on a lot that is located contiguous with or directly across a street, alley, public or private easement from a dwelling district.

The parking and loading regulations are the same for uses enumerated in Chapters 26.20 through 26.56, inclusive.
