Any building hereafter erected or structurally altered shall be located on one lot and except as provided in this division. There shall be no more than one principal building and the customary accessory buildings on one lot.

No principal building shall hereafter be constructed on a lot which does not adjoin a dedicated public street.

Utilities service installations which are considered necessary for the safe or efficient operation of utilities are permitted in any zoning district of this chapter, such utilities to be controlled by the applicable regulations of the city, valid franchise granted by the city, and other provisions authorized by the state statutes.

(a)

The drilling or mining for the removal of oil, gas, coal and other minerals within the limits of the city is unlawful and such activity is hereby prohibited.

(b)

The erection of drilling rigs, motors, tanks and the construction of shafts, mines and pits for the purpose of exploring, excavating and removing of oil, gas, coal and other minerals within the city limits of the city are unlawful and such activity is hereby prohibited.
