Zoning ordinance amendments may be initiated by the Town Council, the Planning and Zoning Commission, Town staff, or, by any individual upon submittal of a completed application and payment of the required application fee. (Ord. 132, 6-10-1997)

Amendments to this Ordinance or to the Town Official Zoning Map may be approved by the Town Council following the procedures described in Arizona Revised Statutes, section 9-462.04. Prior to the Town Council's consideration of any such amendment, the Planning and Zoning Commission must hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to the Town Council. (Ord. 132, 6-10-1997)
