C-1 Limited Commercial District
§ 240-42 Purpose.
The purpose of this District is to provide retail shopping and service facilities to serve immediate household needs which are of a limited type and size appropriate to smaller properties, which do not generate large amounts of traffic and which do not adversely impact neighboring residential uses.
§ 240-43 Authorized uses.
In the C-1 Limited Commercial District, only the following uses are authorized:

Dry cleaning pickup store.
(p)
Financial institution.

Florist shop, excluding greenhouse.

Food store.

Hobby shop.

Public buildings, other than township-related facilities, subject to § 240-95A(9).

Public parking lot or public parking garage, subject to § 240-95A(33).

Public recreation, other than township-related facilities, subject to § 240-95A(38).
(k)
Public utility building or structures, subject to § 240-95A(39).
(l)
Research and development, subject to § 240-95A(27).
(m)
Retail stores, subject to § 240-95A(27).
(n)
Schools, public or private, subject to § 240-95A(9).
(o)
Oil and gas development, subject to § 240-95A(54).

Accessory uses.
(a)
Communications antenna mounted on an existing building or on an existing public utility storage or transmission structure, subject to § 240-95A(12).

Uses by special exception.
(1)
Principal uses.
(a)
Animal hospital, subject to § 240-95A(2).
(b)
Bar or tavern, subject to § 240-95A(27).
(c)
Car wash, subject to § 240-95A(27).
(d)
Florist shop with greenhouse, subject to § 240-95A(27).
(e)
Grocery store, subject to § 240-95A(27).
(f)
Landscaping contractor, subject to § 240-95A(27).

§ 240-44 Area and bulk regulations.
In the C-1 Limited Commercial District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Article XV.
