The purpose of this zone is to provide for general and commercial aviation uses at the Sunnyside Airport. [Ord. 1387 § 1, 1983.]

The following are permitted uses in the AP – Airport zone:

A. Private and commercial flight operations as permitted by the FAA;

B. Fuel storage and sale;

C. Chemical storage and loading for agricultural spraying;

D. Storage of aircraft and related equipment;

E. Other airport related activities;

F. On-site hazardous waste treatment and storage as an accessory use to any activity generating hazardous waste and lawfully allowed in this zone; provided, that such facilities meet the State siting criteria adopted pursuant to the requirements of RCW 70.105.210.
