ARTICLE III

ZONING DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED; ZONING MAP

Sec. 122-179.- Districts enumerated.

For the purposes of this chapter, the city is hereby divided into districts, of which there shall be 15 in number, as follows:

(1)

"S" Suburban District.

(2)

"R-1-A" One-Family District.

(3)

"R-1-B" One-Family District.

(4)

"R-2" Two-Family District.

(5)

"R-3" Apartment Residential District.

(6)

"R-4" Apartment Residential District.

(7)

"PPD" Planned Development District.

(8)

"C-1" Commercial District.

(9)

"C-2" Highway Commercial District.

(10)

"C-3" Shopping Center District.

(11)

"C-4" Central Business Commercial District.

(12)

"M-1" Manufacturing District-Light.

(13)

"M-2" Manufacturing District-Heavy.

"W-1" Waterfront District.

Sec. 122-180. - Zoning district map.

(a)

The boundaries of the districts set out in section 122-179 are hereby established as shown on the Official Zoning Map of Superior, Wisconsin. The zoning map and all the notations, references and other information shown thereon are a part of this chapter and shall have the same force and effect as if such map and all the notations, references and other information shown thereon are all fully set forth or described herein, which zoning district map is properly approved and on file in the office of the city clerk.

(b)

The district boundary lines on such map follow either streets or alleys. Where the districts designated on the map are bounded by such street or alley, the centerline of the street or alley shall be the boundary of the district, unless such boundary is otherwise indicated on the map. In the case of unsubdivided property, the district boundary lines shall be determined by use of the scale appearing on the zoning district map or by dimensions.

(c)

Where the boundary of a district follows a railroad line, such boundary shall be deemed to be located midway between the main tracks of such railroad line.
