Newtown Township. The zoning ordinance adopted August 28, 1959, by the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors, as subsequently amended, and entitled, The Newtown Township Zoning Ordinance of 1959, as amended, and all supplements and amendments thereto are hereby repealed. Provided, however, if this Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance is held to be ineffective or invalid by reason of some irregularity in or impediment to its passage, this repealer shall also be ineffective as aforesaid. Then and in that event, the Zoning ordinance of 1959, together with its supplements and amendments, would necessarily remain in full force and effect.

Upper Makefield Township. The zoning ordinance adopted August 19, 1975, by the Upper Makefield Township Board of Supervisors, as subsequently amended, and entitled, The Upper Makefield Township Zoning Ordinance of 1975, and all supplements and amendments thereto are hereby repealed. Provided, however, if this Joint Municipal Zoning ordinance is held to be ineffective or invalid by reason of some irregularity in or impediment to its passage, this repealer shall also be ineffective as aforesaid. Then and in that event, the Zoning Ordinance of 1959, together with its supplements and amendments, would necessarily remain in full force and effect.

Wrightstown Township. The zoning ordinance adopted July 12, 1976, by the Wrightstown Township Board of Supervisors, as subsequently amended, and entitled, The Wrightstown Township Zoning ordinance of 1976, as amended, and all supplements and amendments thereto are hereby repealed. Provided, however, if this Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance is held to be ineffective or invalid by reason of some irregularity in or impediment to its passage, this repealer shall also be ineffective as aforesaid. Then and in that event, the Zoning ordinance of 1959, together with its supplements and amendments, would necessarily remain in full force and effect.

The zoning ordinance, originally adopted August 9, 1983, by Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, Upper Makefield Township and Wrightstown Township, as subsequently amended, and entitled, Newtown Area Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 1983, as amended, and all supplements and amendments thereto are hereby repealed. Provided, however, if this Newtown Area Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 2006 is held to be in effective or invalid by reason of some irregularity in or impediment to its passage, this repealer shall also be ineffective as aforesaid. Then and in that event, the Newtown Area Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance of 1983, as amended, together with its supplements and amendments, would necessarily remain in full force and effect.

The effective date of this Ordinance shall be five days after date of enactment by the last of the participating municipalities.

The effective date of amendments to this Ordinance shall be the date of enactment of the last of the participating municipalities that adopted the respective amendment.
