Sec. 82-38. - Interpretation of district boundaries.

Unless otherwise specified, district boundary lines shall be property or lot lines, the centerlines of streets or those lines extended, a line midway between the main tracks of a railroad, a line lying in the center of a stream or drainage way, or the city limits. Those lines drawn or appearing on these lines are to be considered thereon. Where district boundary lines parallel street rights-of-way or other discernible topographic features, the exact distance may be scaled from the map. Where a district boundary line divides a lot which was in single ownership at the time the ordinance from which this chapter was derived was adopted, the board of appeals may permit, as a conditional use, the extension of the regulations for either portion of the lot not to exceed 50 feet beyond the district line into the remaining portion of the lot.
