In interpreting and applying this chapter, its provisions shall be held to be the minimum requirements for promotion of health, safety, morals and general welfare of the Township. Any use permitted subject to the regulations prescribed by the provisions of this chapter shall conform with all regulations for the zoning district in which it is located and to all other pertinent regulations of this chapter. This chapter is not intended to interfere with, abrogate, annul, supersede or cancel any easements, covenants, restrictions or reservations contained in deeds or other agreements, but if this chapter imposes more stringent restrictions upon the use of buildings and land than are contained in the deeds or agreements, the provisions of the chapter would control.
A. In the event any provision, section, sentence, clause or part of this section shall be held to be invalid, illegal or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality or unconstitutionality shall not affect or impair the remaining provisions, sections, sentences, clauses or parts of this section, it being the intent of the Board of Supervisors that the remainder of the section shall be and shall remain in full force and effect.
