Standards. Off-street parking space(s) with a proper and safe access shall be provided within a structure or in the open to adequately serve the uses on each lot within each district. For purposes of computing parking areas, including stalls and driveways, the total parking space for one vehicle shall be equal to at least 320 square feet and shall have a stall of at least nine feet by 20 feet in size. Parking spaces shall be adequately marked and shall have an approved all-weather surface to provide safe and convenient access in all seasons.

Requirements. Required off-street parking space(s) for new construction or enlargement or change in use shall conform to the requirements as set forth for each use in the Article V, Use Regulations.[1]

Multiple parking occupancy. When a number of different uses are proposed within a structure, facility or complex and when it can be demonstrated that one or more of such uses require parking needs at times other than normal business or operating hours, the applicant may present to the Planning Commission a written report, prepared by a professional traffic engineer or consultant, stating that a maximum combination of all such uses will not require that total accumulative parking need be provided on the site. If the Planning Commission, after review, determines that a reduced overall parking requirement can satisfy the off-street parking needs of the combined facilities, the applicant shall be permitted to reduce the parking spaces provided in accordance with the stipulated number of spaces as approved by the Planning Commission and the Borough Council.
