Construction and reconstruction. Any sign erected, relocated, structurally altered, reconstructed, or maintained shall comply with the provisions of this chapter.

Multiple copy areas. Signs with multiple copy areas shall be placed back-to-back (parallel).

Disrepair and abandonment. Any sign that falls into a state of disrepair or is abandoned shall be repaired or removed by the owner. If the sign is to be repaired a new permit shall be required which shall conform to the provisions of this chapter.
