There is hereby adopted a zoning ordinance which constitutes the land use regulation law for the city based upon the adopted general plan. [Ord. 632-91 § 1.01, 10-22-91].
This title shall be known and may be cited as the Willows zoning ordinance. [Ord. 632-91 § 1.02, 10-22-91].
This title is adopted to provide reasonable protective regulations designed to promote and protect the public health, safety, peace, morals, comfort, convenience and general welfare, and to protect the established character and the social and economic stability of agricultural, residential, commercial, industrial and other types of improved areas, and to assist in providing a definite comprehensive plan for sound and orderly development, and to guide and regulate such development consistent with the general plan and the objectives and standards set forth therein. This title is intended to apply to all private, public, quasi-public, institutional, and all other lands, buildings and structures within the incorporated area of the city. [Ord. 632-91 § 1.04, 10-22-91].
No building or structure shall be erected or reconstructed, moved, altered or located, nor shall any building or land be used for any purpose other than as permitted by and in conformance with this title and all other ordinances, laws and maps referred to herein. [Ord. 632-91 § 1.05, 10-22-91].
