02 - ZONING DISTRICTS
The location and boundaries of the districts established in this title are shown upon the official zoning map of Yuma which is incorporated into this title. The zoning map and all subsequent amendments shall be as much a part of this title as if fully set forth and described herein.

The district boundary lines on the zoning map are intended to follow lot lines or centerlines of streets, alleys, railroads or other natural barriers.

Regarding the boundaries of any use district shown on the zoning map, the following rules shall apply:
A.
Boundaries indicated as approximately following the centerlines of streets, highways or alleys shall be construed to follow such centerlines;
B.
Boundaries indicated as approximately following platted lot lines shall be construed to follow such lines;
C.
Boundaries indicated as following railroad lines shall be construed to follow the midpoint of the railroad right-of-way;
D.
Boundaries indicated as following the municipal limits shall be construed as following municipal limits;
E.
Distances not specifically indicated on the official zoning map shall be determined by the scale of the map;
F.
Where existing physical features conflict with features shown on the official zoning map, or in circumstances not covered in subsections A through E of this section, the City Council shall interpret the boundaries;
G.
Where a lot is divided by a zoning district boundary line at the time of enactment of this title, the less restrictive zoning requirements may be extended within the lot with the more restrictive zoning requirements for a distance of not more than 25 feet.

Changes in the boundaries of the zones shall be made by ordinance and shall be reflected on the official zoning map.

In order to carry out the intent, purpose and provisions of this title, the City is hereby divided into the following zoning districts:
