At Zoneomics, our teams are working around the clock to provide you with smarter tools and deeper insights to streamline your zoning and prospecting workflows. In this November 2024 Release, we are excited to announce a series of updates including new API capabilities, enhanced filters, revamped tools, and more. Let’s dive right into the details!
The zonePermits API – Filter zone permits with new query parameters
Our ZonePermits API now includes advanced query parameters, allowing you to filter the data returned by the API to meet your specific zoning data needs. This latest version of the API lets you filter zone permits within a date range or by a specific project type or by their statuses. The following new query parameters are included in this API version:
- Date_from and date_to: Filter permits within a specific date range.
- Project_type: Narrow down results by product types.
- Statuses: Focus on permits based on their current status.
These enhancements give you greater control over the zoning data you access, ensuring the information you retrieve aligns perfectly with your project needs.
Zone Permits Filter – Enhanced Data Filtering
We've been enhancing our zoning data filters within the web app to help you focus on the zoning information that matters most. This release includes an improved version of the Zone Permits (previously known as Zone Cases) filter, offering more control over the zone permits you want to view.
With this update, we have added new options that let you filter the permits by:
Specific project types: For example, you could filter the permits by Renovation project types in your desired zone.
Filter permits by their status: For example, you could view the permits in your zone with a “RENEWAL” status.
Find permits within a specific date range: For example, you could view the permits that were created after 05-05-2022 and before 01-01-2024.
These new filters are designed to help you focus on the most relevant zoning data for your projects, saving you time and effort.
Prospect Tool – Now in a Dedicated Workspace
The Prospect Tool has received a major overhaul to improve your experience. The revamped Prospect Tool now has a dedicated Prospect Tab in the menu, offering an independent workspace tailored to your prospecting needs.
Key features include:
- Search based on City, Zip Code, or Custom Area.
- Filter Searches based on Permitted Land Use Classes.
- Filter Searches based on Permitted Land Use Subclasses.
- Filter based on Parcel Size (available in sq ft and sq yds.), Building Height in feet, Max Dwelling Unit Per Acre, Floor Area Ratio, and Max Coverage (percentage)
This update ensures a more streamlined and intuitive prospecting experience, helping you quickly identify the most important opportunities.
