When the Commission, pursuant to Chapter 7-3, Title 7, of the Government Code, approved the acquisition of any square, park or of any other public ground or open space by any public entity, it may, in the approval, designate for what purpose and to what extent said property may be used.

When the Commission so approves the acquisition of publicly owned property, such property may be used for any use designated pursuant to this article by the Commission in addition to those uses permitted in the zone in which such property is located.
