21 Access and Streets
Each development shall have access to a street. Such access shall be designed and constructed for and shall be evaluated by the Board as to adequacy for entering and exiting vehicles and for emergency vehicles. Public and private streets shall be provided in accordance with subsections 21-21.2 and 21-21.3, respectively, and shall be evaluated by the Board as to capacity and safety of operation. No plat involving any street(s) requiring additional right-of-way width shall be approved unless such additional right-of-way width, along one or both sides of the street(s), as applicable, shall be deeded to the Township or other appropriate government agency. [Ord. #585, § 509A) |
Developments that adjoin or include existing public streets which do not conform to the above required right-of-way widths shall dedicate the required additional width along one or both sides of the street. If development is proposed along one side of the street only, then 1/2 of the required extra width shall be dedicated. |
