If any portion of this ordinance shall be held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect or impair the remaining portions unless it clearly appears that such other parts are wholly and necessarily dependent upon the part held to be invalid or unconstitutional.

Whenever the regulations of this ordinance require a greater width or size of yards, or impose other more restrictive standards than are required in or under any other statute, the requirements of this ordinance shall govern. Whenever the provisions of any other statute require more restrictive standards than are required by this ordinance, the provisions of such statute shall govern. The "zoning ordinances" of the City of Brooklet, Georgia, previously adopted, and codified at chapter 18 of the ordinances of the City of Brooklet, are hereby repealed in their entirety, it being the intent of the city to adopt these zoning ordinances to replace the zoning ordinances previously adopted, except that any conditions of zoning imposed by the former zoning ordinances or rights of enforcement of the prior zoning ordinance which accrued prior to repeal shall remain in full force and effect. Furthermore, all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption, the public welfare demanding it.
