VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
Any person who violates any provision of this ordinance or who fails to comply therewith or with any requirement thereof, or who shall erect or alter or commence to erect or alter any building in violation of any detailed statement or plan submitted or approved pursuant to the terms of this ordinance, shall for each and every act of violation or noncompliance be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), and each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense. The owner of a building or premises or part thereof where anything in violation of this ordinance shall be placed or shall exist, and any architect, builder, contractor, agent, or corporation employed in connection therewith who or which assisted in the commission of any such violation, shall each be deemed guilty of a separate offense hereunder and, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), and each day of violation shall constitute a separate offense.
