2. - Earth satellite station.
1.
A district - residential. An earth satellite station shall be permitted, subject to the following regulations:
a.
The dish shall not exceed eight feet in diameter;
b.
The earth satellite station shall be neutral in color and bear no advertising emblem or information other than the name of the manufacturer in letters not to exceed two inches in height;
c.
The earth satellite station shall be limited to one per lot;
d.
If roof-mounted, the earth satellite station shall:
(1)
Be constructed to a maximum height of 11 feet above the highest point of the roof;
(2)
Not be constructed any closer to the ground than ten feet;
(3)
Not be visible between ground level and ten feet above ground level from any street adjoining the zoning lot; and
(4)
Comply with additional requirements as set forth in the building code of the Village of Burnham.
e.
If ground-mounted, the earth satellite station cannot be located between a building and a front lot line; shall be located only in a rear yard; and shall be located a minimum of ten feet from any lot line;
f.
If ground-mounted, the earth satellite station shall not exceed 11 feet in height measured from ground level to the top of any portion of the satellite station;
g.
The rear yard or the portion thereof containing the earth satellite station shall be enclosed by suitable protective anti-climb fencing of a minimum height of six feet sufficient to make such earth satellite station inaccessible to unauthorized persons. A natural fence, hedge or other protective device approved by the village president and board of trustees of the village may be used so long as the degree of protection afforded by the substituted devices or structures is not less than the protection afforded by the fence described herein;
h.
The earth satellite station shall be used only by the residents of the principal building located on the same zoning lot. Any connection, by cable or otherwise, to adjacent zoning lots shall constitute a violation of yard and setback requirements of the Village of Burnham zoning ordinance; and
i.
An earth satellite station which has a height greater than 11 feet if ground-mounted, or which has a height greater than 11 feet above the highest point of the roof, if roof-mounted, or has a dish exceeding eight feet in diameter may be allowed by special use permit authorized by the zoning board of appeals.
2.
B district - forest preserve. An earth satellite station shall be permitted, subject to the following regulations:
a.
The dish shall not exceed eight feet in diameter;
b.

The earth satellite station shall be limited to one per lot, or per building, whichever is less;
d.

Not be constructed any closer to the ground than ten feet;
(3)
Not be visible between ground level and ten feet above ground level from any street adjoining the zoning lot; and
