SECTION 2

3. - Antenna structure.

1.

A district - residential. An antenna structure shall be permitted, subject to the following regulations:

a.

An antenna structure shall be neutral in color and bear no advertising emblem or information other than the name of the manufacturer in letters not to exceed two inches in height;

b.

An antenna structure shall be limited to one per lot or one per building, whichever is less;

c.

If roof-mounted, an antenna structure shall not extend more than 15 feet higher than the highest point of the part of the building to which it is attached;

d.

If ground-mounted, an antenna structure shall be located in a rear yard and a minimum of ten feet from any lot line;

e.

If ground-mounted, an antenna structure shall not exceed 15 feet in height measured from ground level to the top of any antenna structure;

f.

The rear yard or portion thereof containing an antenna structure shall be enclosed by suitable protective anti-climb fencing of a minimum height of six feet sufficient to make such antenna structure inaccessible to unauthorized persons. A natural fence, hedge, or other protective device approved by the village president and board of trustees of the village may be used so long as the degree of protection afforded by the substituted devices or structures is not less than the protection afforded by the fence described herein;

g.

An antenna structure shall be used only by the residents of the principal building located on the same zoning lot. Any connection, by cable or otherwise, to adjacent zoning lots shall constitute a violation of yard and setback requirements of the Village of Burnham zoning ordinance; and

h.

An antenna structure which extends more than 15 feet higher than the highest point of the part of the building to which it is attached, or which is ground-mounted and has a height greater than 15 feet including its base, may be allowed by special use permit authorized by the zoning board of appeals.

2.

B district - forest preserve. An antenna structure shall be permitted, subject to the following regulations:

a.

An antenna structure shall be neutral in color and bear no advertising emblem or information other than the name of the manufacturer in letters not to exceed two inches in height;

b.

An antenna structure shall be limited to one per lot or building, whichever is less;

c.

If roof-mounted, an antenna structure shall not extend more than 15 feet higher than the highest point of the part of the building to which it is attached;

d.

If ground-mounted, an antenna structure shall be located in a rear yard and a minimum of ten feet from any lot line;

e.

If ground-mounted, an antenna structure shall not exceed 15 feet in height measured from ground level to the top of any antenna structure;

f.

The rear yard or portion thereof containing an antenna structure shall be enclosed by suitable protective anti-climb fencing of a minimum height of six feet sufficient to make such antenna structure inaccessible to unauthorized persons. C district - commercial. An antenna structure shall be permitted, subject to the following regulations:

a.

c.

If roof-mounted, an antenna structure shall not extend more than 15 feet higher than the highest point of the building to which it is attached;

If ground-mounted, an antenna structure shall be located in a rear yard and a minimum of ten feet from any lot line;

e.

If ground-mounted, an antenna structure shall not exceed 15 feet in height measured from ground level to the top of any antenna structure;

f.

e.
