The ordinance codified in this title is an ordinance to repeal all ordinances in conflict herewith, establishing comprehensive zoning regulations for Butte-Silver Bow, state of Montana; providing for the administration, enforcement and amendment thereof in accordance with the statutes of the state of Montana, as amended, and it shall be known as and may be referred to and cited as "The Butte-Silver Bow, state of Montana, zoning ordinance."

In interpreting and applying the provisions of this title, they shall be held to be the minimum requirements for the promotion of the public health, safety, comfort, convenience, and general welfare. Where this title imposes a greater restriction upon the use of buildings than are imposed or required by other ordinances, rules, regulations, or easements, covenants or agreements, the provisions of this title shall control.
