- FH FLOOD HAZARD OVERLAY DISTRICT
The flood hazard district is an overlay zone of permitted and proposed uses that fall in areas prone to flooding. All permitted and proposed uses within the flood hazard overlay district must comply with the flood damage prevention ordinance of the city, adopted March 1, 1993, as amended.
[The following uses are permitted in the FH district:]
a)
All permitted uses in R-1, R-2, R-3, and R-4 residential zoning districts; after review by the planning commission to ensure compliance with the flood damage prevention ordinance of the city, as amended.
b)
All permitted uses in the C-1 and C-2 commercial zoning districts; after review by the planning commission to ensure compliance with the flood damage prevention ordinance of the city, as amended.
c)
All permitted uses in the I-1, industrial zoning district; after review by the planning commission to ensure compliance with the flood damage prevention ordinance of the city, as amended.
All conditional uses listed in this ordinance and proposed for development in the flood hazard district shall be reviewed by the planning commission to ensure compliance with the flood damage prevention ordinance of the city, as amended.
