ARTICLE XVIII

Effective Date; Severability

§ 320-185 When effective.

This chapter shall take effect and be in force five days after its enactment by the Township Board of Supervisors, according to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.[1]

§ 320-186 Severability.

A. 
Provisions are severable. The provisions of this chapter are severable, and if any section, sentence, clause, part or provision is held to be illegal, invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision of the court shall not affect or impair the remaining sections, sentences, clauses, parts or provisions of this chapter. It is the intent of the Board of Supervisors that this chapter would have been adopted if such illegal, invalid or unconstitutional section, sentence, clause, part or provision had not been originally included.
B. 
No effects on prior actions. Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to affect any suit or action pending in any court, or any rights acquired or liability incurred, any permit issued or approval granted, or any cause or causes of action arising prior to the enactment of this chapter.
