The provisions of this chapter shall be administered and enforced by the city building inspector. All applications for building permits shall be accomplished by a drawing in duplicate, drawn to scale, showing the actual dimensions of the lot to be built upon, the size of the building to be erected, the use of the property, and such other information as may be necessary to provide for the enforcement of this chapter. A careful record of such applications and plats shall be kept in the office of the building inspector.
